Mellody Hobson


Mellody Hobson has been educating the public about important money decisions as the financial contributor to ABC’s "Good Morning America" since 2000. She is president of Ariel Investments, a Chicago-based money management firm that serves individual investors and 401(k) plans through its no-load mutual funds. She is also a columnist for Black Enterprise magazine. She devotes time to a variety of civic, corporate and professional institutions, including the Chicago Public Library Foundation and the Field Museum. Hobson earned her degree from Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of International Relations and Public Policy.
