Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means as well as the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He is the vice chairman of the bipartisan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus, co-chairman of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Task Force and vice chairman of the Democratic Task Force on Budget and Tax Policy.
Serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. She is on the steering committee of the Rural Health Care Caucus and co-chair of the Long Term Care Caucus. She is also a member of the Congressional Steel Caucus and the Sportsman’s Caucus
Over the past fifteen years Mr. Cohen has written extensively on environmental issues and authored The Green Wave: Environmentalism and Its Consequences.
Mr. Sloane is responsible for federal and state government relations, grassroots, e-advocacy and voter education programs. He served as Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs to President George H. W. Bush, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Governmental Affairs for Secretary of Transportation Elizabeth Hanford Dole.
George Cahlink has covered Congress and the Pentagon for the past decade, as a correspondent for Congressional Quarterly, Defense Daily, Government Executive, Federal Times and Inside the Army. He has served as an embedded journalist with military forces in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo. He also has been a freelance contributor to National Journal, Air Force magazine and Foreign Service Journal.

Kast also reported on the Washington aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks. Her stories included an investigation of anthrax in the mails and the struggles of bereaved Pentagon families to secure benefits.
At The Washington Star, in her first reporting job, Kast covered financial regulation, taxes, and energy. Her expertise in these important issues eventually led her to start a national public-television show, "This Week in Business," which she hosted in association with Business Week magazine.
Ms. Kast is a skilled interviewer. She has often hosted NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday and has her own current-affairs interview show on public radio in Maryland.
