Broadway star Ben Vereen is taking the stage once again…this time it’s part of a campaign to raise awareness about diabetes.

The Tony Award-winning actor was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes back in 2007, and has been an advocate for raising awareness about the disease ever since.

Currently, Vereen has partnered with "Take the Stage for Diabetes Awareness," a national campaign designed to educate people living with diabetes, and their families, about their condition and the importance of blood sugar control.
