This group is to discuss your feelings about the quality of healthcare you receive as you get older. I'm a R.N. and I have found that many doctors fail to treat medical problems that elderly patients have because of age. We are ALL entitled to have the same quality of healthcare regardless of age! I am a major advocate of quality healthcare, regardless of age. I am interesting in hearing from seniors and care-givers regarding the medical care they get, or fail to get, because we are "old". Health problems are NOT simply a normal part of the aging process. Please let me know what your experiences have been with your doctor. I assure you that all information you provide will be kept strictly confidential. I see senior citizen's serious health problems ignored by doctors on a daily basis and I'm ready to fight back and stand up for the seniors rights to QUALITY HEALTHCARE REGARDLESS OF AGE! I look forward to hearing from you all and will share my findings with you as well. Everyone in this country is entitled to quality healthcare regardless of age and I plan to take a stand on behalf of the growing senior population!!
