My Life by Diana Lynn Nevers Mooney

I was born in Los Angeles on June 30,1944. My father worked in a ship yard doing electrical work on what were known as Liberty ships. There were four of us in my family my father and mother and my older sister.

After the end of the world my family decided to move to Northern California in 1945 after the war was over and it was not just my little family that decided to move. My mother's sister her husband and their son moved with us plus my dad's sister and her husband and children also moved to Placerville. There was another family my uncle on my dad's side his cousin and her husband and children movedc her. Plus some other friends. I still do not know why they picked Placerville as the place we all would stop.
