Irish-Colonial America History

Early Americans came from a wide range of backgrounds. The Irish emigrants started long before the Great Famine. In addition to settling Pennsylvania and Delaware in the 1680s, they were very fond of the entire eastern Atlantic coast and the southern coast. Your help in expanding our knowledge of early Irish immigration is welcome and can open new doors of understanding for both historians and genealogists Irish-Colonial American History is a request-only group. It rejects no-one. It soley want to monitor the stories and the activities that will build the rapidly growing group. We can shape the information that historians and genealogists are looking for. Your stories, and mine, can keep this the pioneer venue for all oral history. I hope you agree, the facts are more important than the guess work
