Social Security Questions

I am 62 and qualify for Social Security, my questions are; can I draw until I find a job and then stop payments, how long does it take, and if I reapply again later how much will I be penalized? I will accept any answers, comments, personal experiences or direction on where to find the answers. I'm out of work, going broke and will soon have to drop my health insurance and may soon be in pursuit of health care on a sliding fee scale.
