Nifty, Thrifty Tips to Save $$
I need to get a life. In my semi-retired state, I have free time to research, read, and find tidbits of information to save AARP'ers money, when buying STUFF. This is a picture I took today of a pitbill bite on my 19 years old, which happened yesterday.  Dog bites can be very serious. 

My daughter walked into one of her friend's house and the pitbull attacked her, upon her entering the home.  She did go to the ER, where the police and animal control came to the ER.  The dog is in quarantine for 10 days.  She was given antibiotics and pain meds... 

The owner of the pitbull was angry, since a report or claim was put against their dog.  OMG, if my dog had bitten someone.. I would have said... "Take the dog." 

Humans First!!!

Hi Lindy,

How awful!  You know, I believe these dogs should only be kept at factories etc for guard dogs only.  Three years ago, I was taking my shih-tzu for a walk when I spotted a pit bull on a leash.  We started crossing the street when all of a sudden this pit bull jumped on my back, in the middle of the street (he had broken his leash) and proceeded to attack my little dog while standing on me.  I managed to turn over and grab his mouth and held on to it, while screaming, until the owners came running out of their house.  I took my dog to the emergency room and he had four teeth incisions in his head.  The owners did pay his doctor bill. 

This dog was a family dog and the gal had 2 small children of her own - WHY HAVE THIS KIND OF DOG?  Anyway, I am glad your granddaughter is alright.
