I'm attending Amberton University both online and in class for my graduate degree in counseling.  I love learning the different techniques.  This has been so good for me!

I received my BA from UoP, and I'd love to get my MA.  It's just that the classes are too expensive for my income (I'm retired, on SS).

Some of my best teachers when I was in college were fellow students who were back for their 2nd round of education. Not only are you enriching your own life when you go back to school, but you're also adding a lot to the experience of the other students around you and it's much appreciated. I remember a woman in my sociology classes who was getting her doctorate. She had gone back to school at age 51, and was about to complete her Phd at age 60. Quite a journey...and she was fabulous! So many stories of all the events in her life that had led her to that point. She really enriched every class discussion.

It's definitely never too late! In fact, age adds dimensions that the younger generation can only dream of... =)

Good luck on this adventure... I have taken On-Line courses via University of Phoenix to maintain my License.

that sounds fun--gives me something else to think about doing when I eventually retire.

Congratulations!  Be proud!!  An acquaintance of mine went back to school, passed the bar and became a lawyer at age 50!  A determined mind can do anything!!
