I no doubt think all coffee lovers know that caffiene quickly awakens various areas of the brain and greatly improves cognition....it increases brain speed overall, ...spurs conceptial thinking ...improves memory...all on a daily basis...and perhaps best of all it extends these cognotive abilities well into the evening...unless you have certain types of heart  rhythm problems or certain problems with the nervous system...I would highly advise about 2-3 cups a day...good luck..happy thinking  *S   It's benefits far outweigh any drawbacks

Yes I agree I am an avid coffee drinker for about 2 years ago. I can't seem to leave home without it. It does motivate and keeps me alert throughout the day. I still wonder why the body reacts at a much slower rate without it. Anyway, great post!

It could very well be true that the placques were not identical to those formed in Altz patients.  Still, what all do the phytochemicals do?

Latest article I read in Nutrition Action states that people who drink 3-4 cups have much lower risk of diabetes than those who drink none.  And it tastes good!!

I read recently that some research has shown that it may delay the onset of Parkinson's also.  The information came from a source that is not affiliated with the coffee industry or accepting ads from the industry.  In such cases, I believe to err on the side of caution.  2-3 cups a day is cautious enough.
