I'm from Okinawa. Some of the longest living/functioning people are there. Check out this YouTube video.

I might add that I found these videos browsing for stuff related to Okinawa.I wasn't on a quest for long life. lol. But, if you're interested, here's another one with a 90 year old woman climbing a tree... and she does it everyday ;0)

I agree with you. It's not where, it's how. That's why I posted the video. So anyone can see it can be done... live longer using common sense.

It doesn't matter where you live!  It is how you live, once you see this video I put together you'll see 95 year olds doing performances better than people half their age!

These seniors are truly at inspiration for those who don't live in The longest living/functioning cities in the world"

Did you check out the video. It's not about tricks. It's about eating habits and common sense.

Sometimes it just seems longer!  I don't have any tricks (hate exercise), but did do some in the distant past.  Back when hi-impact aerobics were in.  I think I've lived this long due to healthy genes.  My photo is fairly accurate - except my hair is black/gray & not blue as in photo. & it is kinda spiky.

Re living long... I have always watched my cholesterol because back in the day, skim milk was cheaper, as was salmon etc.  Not that I'm an ancient hag, just no spring chicken.

I've not done this AARP web before - looks like fun.
