I just added pictures to the group photos of Sugar making friends with my daughter's kitten Miles.  No matter how I think I have it figured out; I can't get the pictures to load in the order I want and couldn't figure out how to remove and change the order.  The second picture is meant to be at the end. All were shot with me close by and it was a playful sparing session; no one at risk.  They stalk each other!  The desired order is on my profile page. Joy

Just like kids, won't they every grow up. Hope not for awhile, they are just too much fun.

Thank you!  They really do; Sugar just wants to play when she sees a cat or dog.  They don't always feel the same way :(  but, she persists.  It took several visits before Miles was ready to interact.  Didn't force anything; just stayed close and let them work it through.  Joy

Really great pictures.  Each dog sure has their own personality, don't they?

It was fun taking them; they practically got in my lap, was hard to keep enough distance.  The pictures really don't capture all the antics and the whining (Sugar) and growling (Miles).  Makes me wonder how they communicate; there definitely seem to be "rules" and "boundaries" and it was obviously all in "play" and getting acquainted.  This was their 3rd visit together and the first with so much interaction.  Joy

Travel was a main concern in my delaying getting a dog again.  But, that for me is at most twice a year; the joy Sugar brings on a daily basis far outweighs that. We'll find a way.   I would love to find someone that we could sit for each other; my daughter in MD has had very good luck with that.  Joy

Amen to that!  It's good they do get along.   I wish I had someone here to watch my 'kids' when I want to travel.   If we ever get the small motor home I want, we'll travel with the dogs and the birds.   Won't have to board them.   THAT idea is great.
