So are you ready for Talladega?? Any ideas on who will survive THE BIG ONE?? |

Yes he did but I was glad he was OK, I would have twitched and shook for a month.
I know! When Carl's car took to flight, my heart was in my throat!! It was great that he could run to the finish line!! And that they would let him! LOL
Tone, Mark took a pretty bad spill today! I can't imagine him just getting out of that car and being ok with it! his age has to mess with him when that happens!
Wow! Incredible! And yes, they aren't taking anymore chances with that fence not being high or strong enough! But I wish they would stop the restrictor plates too!! Somebody is going to get really bad hurt!!
Small tracks are exciting too! Actually, I like them all... but have only been to Dover!
As some know, Carl is my favorite driver. I was watching when I saw this horrible scene. I waited and waited for Carl to come out of his car. It was such a scarey few minutes. I was so relieved when he got out and ran to the finish line.
Hopefully, all of the drivers keep their heads in this race and don't get too aggressive. There are a lot of agendas being played out in these next few races. Hopefully, God will be with them all.
I remember the last race at 'Dega, where Carl Edwards car went flying. I was actually there, and was standing on top of a motor home, when it occurred. I thought Dale Jr. was hit, and went running to see if he was all right. We were parked in the infield. We (my son and I are friends of Dale) someone caught me before I got too far, and inform me that Jr. was all right. I know since than they have rebuild the fence up to 20 feet, and of course they will be using a smaller restrictor plate to cut down on the speed. As my son said they can do whatever they want, but when you are 5 wide, and have to go down to 3 wide, thats what causes the big wreck. With the double wide start, it will be interesting to see how many laps they get done, before the big one. You know it will either be at the beginning or near the end. Anyway you put it the race will be a good one.
