Jeff Gordon finally got his first win at TMS last April.  Do you think think that he can win again this Sunday?

The Texas Motor Speedway has installed a large God Bless Our Troops at Fort Hood sign on the infield grass near the start/finish line.

Morning everyone!! Yes, I am sure that something will be said this weekend about Ft. Hood! At least by the chaplin before the race. And we should all keep those involved in our prayers!

Meanwhile, Jeff was good here in the spring! We can only hope he will run well again this week! If not for "the Big One" Jeff would have had a different more pleasant run at Tally! Let's see what he and Steve will come up with in TX!!

As for JR... he's gaining speed too!! Hope he comes up with a good finish this week as well!!

Great Post IndianaNative!! Thanks!

I would imagine that NASCAR or the race track would have a moment of silence or some other appropriate recognition of the victims of this tragedy.

It  would be nice if Gordon wins, but I will be hoping that my driver Dale Jr. finishes at least in the top ten, like he did at Talladega. I will be at the race track both Saturday and Sunday. Would also like to put a small mention of what happen at Fort Hood today, my prays are with the family members whose men or women were wounded or died today. Finally Lets Go Racing Boys.
