SINGLE TRAVELERS
This is your home to discuss Single Travel, whether one travels Independently, or on Group tours which make provisions for Single Senior Travelers! This is also the home where one can connect with other Single Travelers, so we don't get caught with Single Travel Supplement fees! Now, let me also make it clear, one can be married or single, it's just that the Member will be traveling alone, for one's mate might be unable to travel with them, and they want a safe situation for their loved one! I live in Phoenix, AZ and am also looking for friends to travel with in 2010. I love the ocean and beaches and also enjoy the all-inclusive vacations. I am also interested in a Mediterranean cruise. I retired two years ago from law enforcement and am therefore flexible with dates.

PS....I'm always up for hosting.  I've done it before...I just havent been a guest yet anywhere.  I also have a house, large inground pool, close to the beaches and about 45-60 minutes to all the theme parks.  Miami - 3 hrs.  Tampa - 3 hrs.  Jacksonville - 3 hrs.  I would love to check out other areas in Florida and am especially interested in Savannah, GA.

Hey LinenLady,

What would you think of hosting me?  I've been thru Jacksonville a few times but never stopped and I've heard there are some great photo ops there.  I'm clean, don't drink, smoke or do drugs and I'm told I have a really good sense of humor.  I'd also host you if you ever want to come down this way.  I'm from Upstate NY and usually go thru Jax to go to NY.  My daughters still live up there so I always have a place to stay when I visit.

Hello....I,too,am looking for singles to travel with.   I still work but have lots of vacation time saved up.  Winters are long and cold in Wisconsin so anywhere warm would be wonderful.    Hope to make lots of new friends,too.

I love what I'm reading..if you meet in Las Vegas please post it - I'll try to make it. (I'm also there to watch my son on the NCAA DIV I Tennis Championships...).  If you meet elsewhere, I will try to come, and if not perhaps a cyber message/journal might fill in for my space? 

I'm open, and my heart's willing - I do still work but for myself so limited only by the economy - at the moment perhaps not quite in the anything goes -

So add me to the list - might I suggest an e-mail list that someone would offer to organize?  Chillin' is one of my fav sports -

Hi,

I'm new to this site but became interested because I thought I might find other single travelers here.  I'm really surprised at the number of people who seem to be in the same situation as I am.  I like your idea about meeting other people somewhere.  I will also be at the AARP convention in LV and would like to meet people there who are interested in traveling.
