SINGLE TRAVELERS
This is your home to discuss Single Travel, whether one travels Independently, or on Group tours which make provisions for Single Senior Travelers! This is also the home where one can connect with other Single Travelers, so we don't get caught with Single Travel Supplement fees! Now, let me also make it clear, one can be married or single, it's just that the Member will be traveling alone, for one's mate might be unable to travel with them, and they want a safe situation for their loved one! Welcome aboard, and happy posting! Shelby

I am planning to spend one month in Paris, France in the month of July 2010.  Has anyone ever had the experience of renting an apartment with an agency or thru friends, etc. and had a good experience.  Information is appreciated.

Nelida

   Hello Unica 1,

I've twice rented apts. in Paris, once in the 11th for a month, and once for a week in Vincennes, a few blocks outside Paris, but still on the #1 metro line. A good source for me has been fusac.com. , and I've also usedwww.seniorshomeexchange.com. Let me know if want further details.....

Bonne chance,  Barbara

Look into vacation rentals by owner-- vrbo.com. I had good experience renting apt. in Hawaii through this organization several years ago. They do have rentals all over the world.
