SINGLE TRAVELERS
This is your home to discuss Single Travel, whether one travels Independently, or on Group tours which make provisions for Single Senior Travelers! This is also the home where one can connect with other Single Travelers, so we don't get caught with Single Travel Supplement fees! Now, let me also make it clear, one can be married or single, it's just that the Member will be traveling alone, for one's mate might be unable to travel with them, and they want a safe situation for their loved one! Welcome aboard, and happy posting! Shelby

Iceland

Saw an ad for a trip to Iceland for after the holiday. It was just $459.00 per person and included RT airfare, taxes, fees, two nights hotel, and some meals. The rate is for travel in the months of January, Feb., and March, so the trip is probably designed for the young who do not mind the cold.

I went to Iceland, it was very interesting

But looking ahead to 2010, I am seeking a female companion to join me on a cruise between Boston and Quebec on the St Lawrence River.  I would like to go in the fall so we can see the fall colors.  It looks like the peak time for this would be September.

My son and his girlfriend are joining me; but I would enjoy having a companion to share a room and see the sights.

If you think you might be interested, let me know.

I saw this trip from Seattle a couple months ago for early December travel, couldn't get anyone to go.  I thought it would be a hoot, if nothing more than to tell people who asked 'What did you do this weekend?' - to tell them I jetted off to Iceland!  I would definitely be interested if it still left from Seattle in March, but I'd need a roommate for the single supplement.

That's awesome - airfare out of where?  just saw an actor on tv wax eloquent about being on location there, said it was so beautiful...the 2 nights is weird - is that the most one would want to stay at the destination city?  I still haven't planned March and might join in then.

But, if it's for two nights hotel, does that mean the trip is for only two days.  Or, do you have to pay the additional nights.  I want to go.  Count me in.
