This is a real problem in our society. Too many elderly adults are abused -- tragically 1.2 million a year. This just shouldn't be. There must be something that we can do to stop this scourge upon our elderly adults who only want to live their lives in peace and not be harmed. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE! I am wondering if there are others out there, who have elderly parents living in your home. I am semi retired, and now feel like I am taking care of a child all over again. It would be nice to have a forum where we could vent our frustrations, concerns, and maybe have some form of support for each of our situations.

One in 150 children are affected by an ASD--autism spectrum disorder. Early, intense behavioral and biomedical intervention can help your child, grandchild, neice, nephew, or other family member or friend "recover" (become indistinguishable from his or her typically developing peers) to some degree
