I am hoping to retire in the next year or two, and will move from my little home in Central California to someplace cheaper, so that I can manage financially.
My only child, my daughter, is in college, and now I am on my own (I divorced nearly 18 years ago).
Couples already have a built-in companion, and usually extra money. As single women, it can be more difficult.
