I formed this group in protest to AARP's support of the Socialist Government Option healthcare for everyone. The Government opperates The Post Office, AMTRAK, Feddy Mac, Fanny Mae, Social Security, and Medicare. All are either going broke or can't make a profit. How are they going to do better without raising everyones taxes and controlling every aspect of our life?

My husband and I became indigent because we didnt have medical insurance.It dosent matter if you worked your whole life if your not insured your indigent.Your a # not even the word number just#.Barry died 58 days ago in the care of a new hospital e.r. do you think it's because he was indigent?

Hi! Although I am a proud card-carrying member of AARP, my husband is twenty years my senior and in declining health. In a recent (?) issue of the AARP magazine, there was an article about a Pharmacist who did assessments on the medications patients in a nursing home were taking and made positive recommendations regarding dosages, timing, etc.
It has been recommended by a nurse that my husband's meds be evaluated. Does anyone have any other information on this service?

AARP came out and said that AARP endorced the Gov health care. I do not know of a single member that was for the Gov run health care. I propose that all members drop out of AARP. They are clearly not listening to the mebership. It looks like the AARP management was bought and they are as corrupt as the Obama administration
