Northwest Arkansas RSCD Lasses & Lads. This dance form is influenced by the elegance of ballet due to the long Scottish history with France--not found in other Celtic geographic areas, such as, from Ireland; Wales; Isle of Man; New Umbria, UK; Cornwall, UK; Brittany, Fr.; Asturia, Spain; Unbria, Italy. Live Big Band Swing Music for Dancing by the original musicians & singers of the WW2 Swing-era orchestras of Tex Beneke, Charlie Benton, Les Brown, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw and others. Plans are in the works to put this program on Public Radio while the remaining musicians are still performing live.
