In my view, what has been called "Country" music for about the last 25-30 years is not what I call the "true" or "traditional" sound. What I consider to have been "pure" Country Music was Hank Williams, Sr, Jimmie Rodgers, Ernest Tubb, Lefty Frizzell, Webb Pierce and others who are no longer with us. Who were some of your favorite traditional C&W singers? What were some of your favorite traditional C&W songs?

Once again, news items are claiming that the "KING" is still alive. I'm a fan of Elvis and I cannot for an instant believe that his death was faked. Would love to hear from those who also are/were fans! Shared pics and music are more than welcome!
