I'm happily single, traveled extensively, and am very active socially, for growing older doesn't mean being old! I'm a Member of two Toastmaster Clubs, enjoy Ballroom Dancing and a good game of Scrabble. However, if given the choice of a good dancer and good conversationalist, I would rather be in the company of a good conversationalist. Fortunately I have both in my life, and good friendships are highly valued, as is Family!
In terms of FamilyI have one Brother, three Daughters and four Grandchildren who I love dearly!
Interests:
One of my biggest joys is my participation within the AARP Community, and my communication with many of our very supportive Members. Since I have varied interests, it was not difficult to develop 14 Groups within the Community. I also volunteered my time for 5 years at our local VA Medical Center, for I enjoyed being there for our Veterans, as they were there for us and our Country!
There are many different volunteer positions available! If you have a VA Hospital, near your community, please consider this type of Volunteer Work, for your help is really needed! Other than that, I enjoy travel, and have had the privilege of traveling extensively!
