Hi, I'm a hard-working single mom with a strong-willed 15 year old son. My main goal in life, at least at the moment, is to put my son through college and get him ready for life. I'm one of those creative types and work for a PR/Marketing firm. I've worked in this field for over 30 years and still seem to enjoy it. I love taking pictures, making beaded jewelry and enjoy taking short trips with my son. Had a great time on the Amtrak trip we took this last August. Chicago was beautiful, especially with all the lovely flowers, Glacier was a true adventure and Seattle was just perfect. For Thanksgiving we drove to Arizona. We visited the Grand Canyon, Williams and Sedona... loved the red rocks we saw there. We are hoping to visit Yosemite sometime this year. You see, there is a method to my madness, I'm working on my son's future memories. If anyone is wondering, the pink ribbon is for my sister. She is a survivor and seems to be doing well

Interests:

My newest interest would be photography. I picked up the hobby earlier last year (2008) and really enjoy it. Don't really know how all the funtions on my camera work but I still manage to take an okay picture once in a great while. Other interests include: antiques, flowers, botanical gardens, jewelry beading, graphic design, web design & coding, package design, logo design, etc
