From the Final Four to the Masters to the Super Bowl, Broadcasting Hall-of-Famer Jim Nantz has covered it all.

His father, also Jim, introduced him to the wonderful world of sports. A common passion for athletic competition enriched their father-son bond.

In his vivid new book, "Always By My Side," Nantz shares poignant stories of his dad's struggles with Alzheimer's. Along the way, he relates thrilling sports tales that will take you down to the field and into the broadcasting booth.

Jim Nantz’s father died on June 28, 2008.
