WEEKEND: The Tipping Point

NASA climate expert James Hansen has spoken out recently about the need for the U.S. to take a leadership role in stemming environmental damage. If action is not taken soon, Hansen says, we could face centuries of climate change. Some government officials say scientists on the federal payroll can discuss findings, but should not comment on policy. Jim Harriott has the story.
