Government Watch's "Key Vote Summary" tracks how the Senators and Representatives who represent AARP’s 40 million members are voting on the issues critical to Americans age 50+.

It also provides AARP members with a simple and direct way to give their elected officials feedback on how they vote on the issues AARP members care most about.

AARP will release a "Key Vote Summary" at the end of each Congressional session.

 

House and Senate Pass Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act

With "Government Watch," AARP is giving its 40 million members an eye on how Congress votes on the Serve America Act. The legislation is a key vote for AARP because it will strengthen and expand civic engagement and volunteer opportunities for Americans 50+, allowing them to address pressing national, state, and local needs. AARP members can see how their Senators and Representatives voted and share their feedback on this important legislation.
