About Us
Every tax season, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers serve their communities by helping their neighbors complete and file their tax returns. Since 1968, Tax-Aide has helped over 80 million taxpayers. This year, nearly 28,000 Tax-Aide volunteers helped secure almost $1.3 billion in total refunds for nearly 1.7 million people. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide service is offered nationwide at almost 3,500 locations.
As an AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteer, you’ll receive training and support, learn new skills, and connect with people in your community while helping others. You can have fun and feel good knowing you're making a positive impact with a team of volunteers.
