FROM ARIZONA

My name is Crystal. I've been a full time caregiver for my mother Mary since she had a stroke in March. She has always worked and was independant until this happened. Actually you could say she was our caregiver. She help raise my daughter Anna since my husband walked out on us when she was 2. Anna is an adult now and I have since remarried to a great man. This is why me and my husband didn't hasitate one moment when it came to helping her. All the help in the world could never repay her for all the help she has given to me and my daughter. My mother Mary lost basically all use of her right side. She needs help with dressing, meal prep and her basic necessities. And can no longer drive. I hope with the help of the physical theripst she will gain more use of her left side. They say her motor skills should improve but I know she will never have full control of her moverments.
