FROM IDAHO

I have been lucky enough to care for both of my parents, Scottie and Colleen for the last couple of years. Just recently my two sisters have become more involved since our parents are needing more and more help on a daily basis. For the last year I have been going with my parents to their doctor visits. I've learned each of their health challenges in great detail. We are lucky that their memories are still good. My father does have challenges at time, but overall his memory is great. Both of them have a difficult time walking any long distance due to issues with their hearts. My dad has become pretty weak due to having issues with his blood. Mom is stronger, but has a difficult time with walking due to her back. I feel very lucky to have this time with them because everyday is precious.
