FROM LOUISIANA

I am Yahya and my father's name is Mateo. He struggles with heart problems and high blood pressure and arthritis. He had a heart attack 2 years ago and ever since I take care of him. He was a heavy smoker and now he has stopped. He also had knee surgery and sees physical therapy. I work from 8 am to 3 pm everyday and my sister would take my place to take care of him until I come back. My sister and I can never leave him alone because we are scared that he would go back to smoking. He's a loving and caring father but struggles so much and I hate seeing him go through this. When I come back from work, I take him out for a walk to try to stay fit and follow a healthy diet even though I am not the best cook.
