FROM MICHIGAN

My Mom (Rebekah) had a double lung transplant at the University of Michigan Hospital in 2007. I've cared for her since she was diagnosed with COPD in '99. I'm a wife and mother of five children in which two have been diagnosed with Autism. I'm busy but I wouldn't change having the opportunity to help others when I can. Sometimes I feel alone in caring for my loved ones but it is all so worth it to me. I try to live life to the fullest and bring that same energy with me everywhere that I go.
