FROM NORTH CAROLINA

My name is Rita Johnson and I take care of my 97-year-old grandma. My day consists of bathing her first thing in the morning, as well as dressing her. I usually cook her breakfast afterwards. While she is eating I make her bed up and vacuum. When her breakfast is complete, I give her the medicine that she needs. She usually retires to her recliner for most of the day. I start preparing her dinner while she is talking my head off. When my cooking is done I have to make her go to the bathroom because she will not go unless you make her. I leave for about 2 hours and come back to give her some lunch if she is hungry. After lunch, I am usually done if her son is around because he can serve her dinner since it's already cooked.
