FROM NEBRASKA

I am taking care of my husband of 41 years, he had a mid cranial stroke with a bleed 4 years ago. Tim spent 7 months total in hospital after. He now has aphasia, apraxia and is paralyzed on his right side. He requires care 24/7. Our lives totally changed. I used to work full time, now I just care for him. I was told that he needed to be in a nursing home since he is total care. I have equipment to help transfer him from bed to wheelchair and a special van. I would not change it, someday I too would like to go camping again. We lived on an acreage before his stroke and since moved to a city to be close to our daughters. It is lonely moving to a new city. We had lived in the same town our entire lives.
