FROM NEW JERSEY

My sister Crickett has chronic migraines which debilitate her. She is unable to come out of her room, can't stand any noise or light and can barely speak or even move around much when she is having an episode. She has 2 kids who are in school, sports and have other activities and I help her get them to their meets and to their fathers house when they want to spend the night with him or visit. The migraines started after she was exposed to some chemicals at her previous place of employment. The employer says the chemicals weren't harmful but these migraines determine otherwise. It's hard enough having health problems that keep you from doing normal, every day tasks. It's devastating when you have children and can't properly care for them. It's hard for my sister to relinquish control and expect others to care for her children when she is unable to do so, but that's what family is for.
