FROM NEVADA

My mother had last stage COPD. She had her insurance company and was determined to keep it running while in a bed. My mother Mary was such a strong willed person and fought as long as she could. She was brought into home hospice December of 2017 where through the help of Compassion Care's nurse and staff my mother was able to be spoiled and pampered for at least an hour a day. I work a full time job and juggling the two took a lot of hours off for changing and other personal necessities she may have needed. Being a caregiver watching your loved one deteriorate is a long and stressful process. From changing, cutting food up, medicating to keep fluids going in and last but not least the emotional and financial upheaval on everyone. My mom passed in the comfort of her own home September 3rd, 2017.
