John was my husband for almost 55 years, we were high school sweethearts! In 1988 John had a stroke at the age of 46, it took his speech and I was his voice until he passed on April 9, 2016. As he got older the old stroke area atrophied and he got dementia. I tried the nursing home but it didn't work for us. I brought him home and I cared for him 24/7 with Hospice help! I had help 3 hours a week to run errands and go to the store. I miss my sweetheart every minute of every day! One day we will be together again.
