FROM SOUTH DAKOTA

I care for Louis. He is a young 71 and had a stroke on February 8th, 2018. They gave him five days to live. But God had other plans. At first, he was in the hospital he had to learn all his physical functions all over again. Thankfully the people that I work for were so helpful and caring. He can now walk with a walker but has to still use a wheelchair. He was in a rehab facility for four months. He is home now. I work full time, so he goes to an adult day care during the day. He still has a long way to go. He cannot dress himself, bath himself, and only has use of one arm. He can feed himself but cannot cut up food or prepare it. He is not able to be by himself. I am not a young chic anymore so it can be exhausting and frustrating, but I do it because I love him.
