Stories from Caregivers: Aletha from TEXAS

FROM TEXAS
My story is like so many others. My Moms is 93 and I've been her caretaker for 10+years. It is a tedious job. The past 4 years have been such a trying time. She is a diabetic, has chronic arthritis and in pain everyday. I feel like I have no life because when I'm out, all I think of is getting back home to check on her. I'm not complaining about taking care of my Moms (would never do that) but, the weight that Caregivers carry is huge!
