FROM TEXAS

I am currently caring for my grandmother. Her name is Katherine and she is 86 years old. She is actually in pretty good health considering her age but she does need help around the house as she is frail. Before I moved in with her she fell and couldn't get up and was on the floor for 2 hours before someone found her. It was devastating to know that she laid there that long. I made the decision to move in with her about 9 months ago. At first she didn't want me to, she said she was fine and she didn't need help. My grandmother is kind of a stubborn woman. But finally she agreed. I help her cook and clean. I'll run errands for her and help her with bills. I'm happy I made the decision to move in. I know she needs the help and it's great spending the time with her.
