FROM WEST VIRGINIA

I take care of my 98 year old dad that lives with us full time. I love him so much and he raised me, so I think my mom and God would want me to care for him, after all, he took care of me growing up. There is nothing better than to share your love with elderly people and my dad still makes me and my husband laugh. My name is Pam Spencer and I care for my father along with the help of the VA. My father's name is Vernon Russell Mulligan, he is 98 and also has a brother that served in the Marines at Iwo Jima, Uncle Bert Mulligan. I'm one of three daughters still living of four. My two sisters didn't want to take care of my dad full time and I am a stay at home type of person, so between me and my husband and a caregiver hired through the VA, we take care of my daddy.
