by Lois Joy Johnson, AARP, December 27, 2018
It’s hard to believe TV and film star Jennifer Aniston is on the cusp of turning 50 (Feb. 11). Though her breakout role as Rachel on Friends initially won us over (renewed on Netflix till 2020 so binge away!) and launched a thousand "Rachel" copycat haircuts, Aniston's cool California vibe and grownup personal style is what really intrigues us now. Don't be fooled — her easy, breezy look is very well thought out. Here’s how to borrow her 11 look-great tricks.

1. Find your perfect hairstyle and stick with it
Aniston keeps her trademark golden locks long and streaky with multitone highlights. She almost always wears it down in the same casual way day or night, but varies the part from center to side. She lets a few longer pieces around the face, and textured ends keep the overall effect modern.
