On July 27, 2022, on the 69th anniversary of the end of the Korean War, a dedication ceremony was held at the Korean War Veterans Memorial to unveil its new Wall of Remembrance. The wall features the names of the more than 36,000 Americans who died supporting the war and the more than 7,100 Koreans who died while augmenting the U.S. Army.
