U.S. Marines and Vietnamese troops move through the grounds of the Imperial Palace in the old citadel area of Hue, Vietnam on Feb. 26, 1968, after seizing it from Communist hands. Troops are in front of the ornate palace, on tanks in the streets of the citadel, viewing the shattered civilian houses and wreckage. The heavy damage was the result of the artillery, air and mortar pounding the area received for 25 days while the Viet Cong/NVA held the area.
