SHARPER

In theaters February 10, on Apple TV+ February 17

In a nifty little comic thriller that might have been titled Con vs. Con, Julianne Moore, 62, woos a Manhattan billionaire (John Lithgow, 77), whose shy son is targeted by fiendishly ingenious confidence men and women. The con artists are backstabbers, and one wonders if a billionaire or his sweetie is to be trusted either. Hey, it’s New York.

COCAINE BEAR

In theaters February 24

Keri Russell, 46, and Margo Martindale, 71, are part of an excellent ensemble cast in this action comedy about a bear that eats a whole lot of cocaine dropped by a dealer (Ray Liotta in his last role) and goes on a rampage. So weird that it could only be based on a true story.

TITANIC

In theaters February 10

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet warm up Valentine’s Day in a reissue of the 1997 hit with newfangled HDR (high dynamic range) visuals that make colors pop more vibrantly than in the old prints.

MAGIC MIKE’S LAST DANCE

In theaters February 10

A socialite (Salma Hayek, 56) whisks a broke bartender (Channing Tatum) to London to teach the next generation of hunky strippers. “It’s a reverse-role Pretty Woman story that [spoiler!] ends up with a lot of dancing,” said Tatum.
