In an adaptation of a hit video game, a bounty hunter (Cate Blanchett, 55), a mercenary (Kevin Hart) and a scientist (Jamie Lee Curtis, 65) hunt for treasure on Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy. Jack Black, 54, voices Claptrap, a blabbermouth robot. The vibe is Mad Max meets Guardians of the Galaxy.

Dennis Quaid, 70, plays the 40th president—from his 30s (with help from digital de-aging) to his 1987 “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” speech to his 80s. Penelope Ann Miller, 60, portrays Nancy Reagan, Lesley-Anne Down, 70, is Margaret Thatcher and Jon Voight, 85, plays a KGB agent who spies on Reagan.

In a comedy slightly like Harold and Maude, Carol Kane, 72 (Taxi), plays a music teacher who runs into a long-ago student (Jason Schwartzman). He becomes her instructor for the bat mitzvah she always wanted.
ONE FAST MOVE

A dishonorably discharged soldier (K.J. Apa) implores his estranged dad (Grey’s Anatomy’s Eric Dane, 51) to assist him in kick-starting a new life as a Supersport motorcycle racer—with support from a motorcycle shop owner (Edward James Olmos, 77), who helps him work through his father issues.

A construction worker (Mark Wahlberg, 53) who lives with his mom gets whisked out of his comfort zone when his high school flame (Halle Berry, 58) shows up to recruit him for a top-secret spy mission. He becomes a blue-collar James Bond—“a guy who would do anything to impress the love of his life,” as Wahlberg told Entertainment Weekly.
