Aries: March 21 - April 19
Aries are known to be ambitious, bold and competitive. As a natural leader, you prefer to plan vacations around challenging activities. September is a great time to visit Utah’s Zion National Park to take advantage of (somewhat) cooler temperatures and more than 90 miles of hiking trails. The new Zion Wildflower Resort, just 15 minutes from the park, offers some interesting accommodations, including a covered wagon with room for the whole family and glamping bungalows with first-class amenities. Aries perk: The on-site yard games will also speak to your competitive spirit. Rates start at around $309.

Taurus: April 20 - May 20
Travelers born under the Taurus sign tend to gravitate to relaxing, serene environments. For the ultimate wellness experience, check out the new Seawater Spa at Gurney’s Montauk on New York’s Long Island. The destination spa, which opened in May following a $20 million renovation, is one of the only ocean-fed seawater pools and wellness spas in North America. After a long day of traveling, try the CBD-infused massages, and don’t forget to request one of the suites overlooking the ocean. Note: Senior rates are available for guests over age 65. Rates start at around $695.

Gemini: May 21 - June 20
Geminis are known to be playful and spontaneous. You want it all! A road trip around Santa Barbara, California, offers plenty of unique options: whale watching for blue whales in the Santa Barbara Channel; one-of-a-kind art in the Funk Zone; wine tasting along the Urban Wine Trail. Bonus: Participating hotels, including the family-friendly Harbor View Inn and the Ritz-Carlton Bacara, are offering a third night free when you book two or more nights through November.

Cancer: June 21 - July 22
Travelers born under the Cancer sign are happy to go with the flow when surrounded by people they trust. Although you are loyal and probably prefer to return to a favorite destination year after year, the new Faraway boutique hotel on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, encourages “the young at heart to get out of the norm.” Intrigued? The hotel is within walking distance of the ferry terminal, and island staples, from the Whaling Museum to the property’s stylish and quirky decor, channel the spirit of an exotic sea captain. Rates start at around $245.

Leo: July 23 - August 22
Ruled by the sun, Leos are fiery and passionate and covet the spotlight. Naturally, a trip to Las Vegas, the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” puts you among friends and in the best spot to shine. For a red-carpet experience, make reservations at the exclusive Delilah lounge at the Wynn Las Vegas resort. The glamorous 1950s-style venue is a modern take on a supper club, with live music and a foie gras-and-caviar-style menu. Delilah opened last year, and it’s still one of the hottest tickets in town — you may find yourself clinking glasses with a celebrity and other stars (like yourself) known to frequent the restaurant.

Virgo: August 23 - September 22
Virgos are known to be logical, smart and quick thinkers, so a trip to San Francisco should check all the boxes needed for a fun getaway. Stay at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis and book the Curious Room by TED. Hidden inside the room is a series of interactive puzzles and riddles about the city. Each correct answer will reveal a surprise and/or reward, including a certificate and free dessert at the on-site restaurant once the final challenge is completed. The hotel is also in the heart of the downtown SoMa (South of Market) area, near restaurants, galleries and cable cars to take you to all the places you need to check off your list. Rates start at $608. Thinking instead of traveling abroad? The Curious Room by TED is also available at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park and, starting Sept. 15, at the London Marriott Hotel County Hall.

Libra: September 23 - October 22
Since Libras tend to be social and romantic, Palm Springs, California, is the perfect destination for a couples getaway. Stay at the swanky new adults-only Azure Sky in one of 14 luxurious rooms with built-in floating beds. The Agave Suite ADA boasts a private balcony for unobstructed views of the stars. At night, order a gin and tonic at the new Del Rey speakeasy at the Villa Royale hotel next door. Rates at Azure Sky start at $299.

Scorpio: October 23 - November 21
Scorpios are known to be mysterious, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. An elusive guise can help you pull off big surprises, like a destination anniversary celebration. In Florida, the Boca Raton resort is celebrating the unveiling of its own $200 million transformation. The 200-acre resort includes five hotels (transportation provided via shuttle or water taxi), a private beach and access to the property’s pontoon boats. After all, a water sign does love the ocean. Rates start at $475.

Sagittarius: November 22 - December 21
Travelers born under the Sagittarius sign who didn’t make it to Burning Man this year (the last day was Sept. 5) may want to continue their quest for knowledge and adventure somewhere more metropolitan, like Chicago. The city boasts numerous concerts, festivals and interactive art exhibits this fall. A couple of free-spirited events that cost zero dollars: pop-up vintage markets at the Fairmont Chicago (through Sept. 14) and the Hyde Park Jazz Festival (Sept. 24–25). And although it’s not free, don’t miss “Prince: The Immersive Experience,” inside the Shops at North Bridge (through Oct. 9).

Capricorn: December 22 - January 19
Capricorns are known to be dependable and grounded. You are ambitious and a stickler for following the rules (just ask your well-behaved grandkids — no running in the halls at any hotel). Everyone also knows that you love to laugh and you appreciate a good joke. For easy access to a legendary comedy club, stay at the Pendry West Hollywood — the hotel opened last year on the Sunset Strip, right across the street from the famous Comedy Store, which continues to host big names including Ali Wong and Dave Chappelle. There’s laughter on set seven nights a week. On Thursdays, Nichelle Murdock’s Crack ’Em Up Comedy is a go-to to hear new material. Rates at the Pendry start at $505.

Aquarius: January 20 - February 18
Travelers born under the Aquarius sign are versatile and intelligent. You are a humanitarian at heart, and the desire to make the world a better place influences everything you do. Plan a trip to Playa Viva, located in the small village of Juluchuca, Mexico. Here the motto “Where your vacation meets your values” shows in the property’s sustainable development practices — including reforestation efforts — and the on-site turtle sanctuary that protects endangered mothers and babies from predators. The best part: Guests are invited to help release baby turtles into the ocean during most stays. Also very cool: the new eco-chic tree-house accommodations suspended in midair by palm trees. Playa Viva opens for the season Oct. 6. Rates start at $265.

Pisces: February 19 - March 20
Pisces are known for their selfless nature and kind actions, which means you’re often the go-to person to plan family trips (well, really, all trips). To accommodate numerous requests, try the Bavarian-inspired Lionshead village in Vail, Colorado, a walkable wonderland with shops, galleries, restaurants and access to skiing and mountain adventures for all skill levels. There’s also a free bus to other parts of town if someone gets bored. Accommodations around here cater to all budgets, but to splurge, check out The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail. The property opened last year following a $40 million renovation and boasts a signature world-class spa with the only Himalayan salt lounge in town. After all, you deserve a treat too.
