Looking for an excuse to indulge your sweet tooth? Craving some confections as you embrace the holiday spirit? Well, mark your calendars for National Cookie Day on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Celebrate the unofficial holiday with these eight deals from online shops and nationwide chains. Prefer to make some cookies yourself? Check out some of our favorite recipes.

Subway

Subway might be known for hoagies, but the popular chain is a quick stop for cookies, too! To celebrate National Cookie Day, Subway is launching their Subway Cookie Club Sweepstakes. From Tuesday, Dec. 3 through Wednesday, Dec. 4, Subway MVP Rewards members can visit SubwayCookieClub.com to enter to win a free cookie coupon sent to their account. Up to 10,000 members will receive the coupons between Dec. 9 through Dec. 31.

But the cookie day fun doesn’t end there (and the cookies get bigger). Check out these free Subway Footlong Cookie deals for DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub users:

DoorDash users can score a free Footlong Cookie with every $20 purchase on Dec. 4 and Dec. 6-8. DashPass members can also get a free Footlong Cookie with every $15 order from Dec. 2-5.
Uber Eats users can earn a free Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie with every $20 purchase from Dec. 2-8. UberOne members can also get the same freebie with any $15 order during the same period.
GrubHub users can cash in on a free Footlong Cookie with every $20 purchase from Dec. 4-10.

Great American Cookies customers can also score a sweet deal on National Cookie Day. Get a free Cookie Cake slice when you buy one in-store on Dec. 4. Just mention the promo in participating stores to redeem.

Love candy canes and cookies? Milk Bar has you covered. The bakery has partnered with the spice company McCormick to create a McCormick Candy Cane Pretzel Bark Cookie. In honor of National Cookie Day, the first 100 customers visiting four of the bakery chain’s locations on Dec. 4 can receive a free candy cane pretzel bark cookie while supplies last – no purchase necessary!

Insomnia Cookies are a go-to when you’re having that late night cookie craving and the bakery franchise will be serving free cookies on National Cookie Day. Insomnia Rewards members are eligible for one free classic cookie and a $1 deluxe cookie both in-store and online.

This deal starts on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and ends on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 a.m. EST. There's no purchase necessary to claim your cookies in-store, but there will be a delivery minimum purchase required for delivery orders. Redeem your free cookies by ordering online with your rewards account or scanning your rewards barcode at checkout in-store.

Prefer a crispy cookie? Then the treats from Tate’s Bake Shop might be right up your alley. This company is offering online shoppers a 40 percent sitewide discount to celebrate National Cookie Day.
