Patty David is Vice President, Consumer Insights for AARP Research, directing consumer insights, integrating insights and ideas that help the organization, consumers, and external stakeholders understand, engage with, and innovate for consumers ages 50 or older and their families. She oversees consumer insights teams working on health security, financial security, loneliness and social connections as well as family, home, and community issues. Her subject matter expertise includes delving into the areas of travel, technology and social connections.
David has more than 30 years of research experience in a number of industries and with many Fortune 500 companies on both the client and vendor side. She spent 12 years at a corporate multi-hospital network leading their market research and CRM operations. Next she moved to a small research firm with a global presence, leaving there to dabble in the Software As A Service (SAAS) space.
She holds a master’s degree in applied social research and dual bachelor’s degrees in sociology and psychology.
