Veralrose Hylton is the Senior Director of Library & Strategic Services in AARP Research, where she leads a phenomenal team responsible for providing expertise in AARP’s insights hub management, consulting services, corporate due diligence on potential partners and providers, vetting of individuals, secondary research and insights, collection development and preservation, and topical news monitoring with customized news and research across the enterprise. Prior to joining AARP, Hylton worked as a legal librarian at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Ms. Hylton holds both a master’s in library and information science and a master’s in information technology with a concentration in health information technology from Catholic University of America, and a bachelor’s in environmental science and pre-law from Howard University. In addition, she completed the AARP Director’s Executive Education Program (ADEPt) Training course at Georgetown University.
